Team workshops

  • This team-building activity is highly effective as a kickoff for the year. It allows the team to identify their core values, gain clarity on how these values manifest in their training, and develop strategies to uphold these values when faced with challenges.

  • Engage in the process of setting both team and individual goals for the upcoming season. This exercise not only equips athletes with the skills to concentrate on the journey but also allows Kiri to offer valuable tips to ensure athletes remain motivated throughout their pursuit.

  • In this workshop, athletes will develop a deep understanding of the difference between “challenge” and “threat” states. They will also explore the intricate link between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, gaining valuable insights into how these elements influence their performance.

  • This interactive and engaging workshop is designed to help athletes grasp the concept of the ideal performance state. Athletes will discover various strategies to either elevate their energy or achieve a sense of calmness, depending on where they find themselves on the state scale.

  • This workshop aims to illuminate the profound impact of positive self-talk on athletic performance. Through a sorting activity that categorizes different types of self-talk, athletes will gain a deeper understanding of its role. Additionally, they will receive practical tips and strategies to enhance their self-talk, ultimately strengthening their mental game.

  • In the realm of sports, distractions and external factors beyond an athlete's control often threaten peak performance. This workshop equips athletes with valuable techniques to regain their focus on the present moment and channel their energy towards elements within their control, facilitating optimal performance.

  • This workshop guides athletes in identifying the specific obstacles that are most likely to disrupt their performance. Through this awareness, athletes will collaboratively develop effective strategies to overcome these obstacles, ensuring resilience and success in the face of adversity.

  • This workshop introduces athletes to the concept of self-compassion, a crucial tool for navigating challenges and setbacks effectively. It is especially valuable for athletes who tend to be self-critical and find it challenging to bounce back after making mistakes.

  • In a world that is often hyper-focuses on results, athletes may inadvertently become overly result-oriented. This workshop utilizes a mountain analogy to remind athletes of the importance of enjoying the journey they are on. It equips them with valuable tools to continue finding fulfillment in the ongoing sporting adventure they're part of.

  • There is so much stress on young athletes these days. This workshop explains the importance of mental health and how to transform challenges into strength and leaves the athletes with a mental health action plan to help them work through the challenges they experience.

All workshops include a preliminary meeting with each team's coach. This initial interaction allows Kiri to tailor the workshop to the team’s needs, ultimately optimizing the outcomes. The most successful workshops occur when the coach is present and active during the session.
