Before the meditation, come up with a keyword quality that you want more of in your life (love, presence, peace, power, strength, confidence etc.). How Kiri Stumbled into Meditation
Dealing with years of concussion issues, constant headaches, and a persistent feeling of being in a fog, I stumbled upon a simple yet profound realization. By resting my brain for just 10 minutes, I found myself waking up with more mental clarity. Intrigued, I decided to give meditation a try.
During my time in Ireland, I made use of the rare rain-free moments to sit on the balcony overlooking the town square. Focusing on my breath and releasing racing thoughts, I gradually experienced a soothing sense of calm washing over me. One day, it clicked—I comprehended the true meaning of being present and mindful. The days took on an effortless calmness, joy and presence I had never noticed before. This marked the beginning of my meditation journey. Soon, it became an indispensable part of my daily routine, and I marvelled at the remarkable benefits it brought into my life with just a few minutes a day. From then on, I was hooked on meditation, in awe how the simple act of taking a few minutes each day to quiet my mind allowed me to approach life with a newfound clarity and calmness.
